Cavachon Picture Gallery
Here are some pictures of our Cavachon, Kasey. Because the Cavachon is a relatively unknown mixed breed, finding pictures of a Cavachon can be difficult. If you are unfamiliar with the breed and are looking for some images, hopefully this will be a good resource for you! We’d be happy to post pictures of your Cavachon! Send them in using our Contact Us page!

Our dog has the same problem. Our country vet put him on a diet of nothing but boiled potatoes and boiled chicken. After the diarrhea stopped, we gradually put him on the best dog food with the least amount of fillers. He does it periodically. I think from eating something in the yard. You need to watch that. Anyway, that is what worked for us.

My Cavachon Cozmo is 2 and a half and had eye staining, I started giving him bottled water and it stopped. You can use either bottled or filter your tap water both work very well. I think it is all the chemicals in city water that causes the staining. Give it a try I think you will be happy with the results.

Hi I Have 2 little boy Cavachon’s Bobby and Oscar littermates who are now 18 months old, they are so similar and so different , finding it very hard to get them to walk nice on short lead they both pull very hard in different directions and it becomes a constant battle preventing them from tangling the leads themselves and me , they also both occasionally pee and poo in the house. I Read somewhere that Cavachons love couches well ours our testament to that and they have our old 2 seater as their bed. Oscar has always been the dominant twin even though they both get treated the same recieving exact same attention , treats and grooming. It is a hard job to groom them but we are made up we chose Cavachon’s and love the bones of them.

Kasey is adoarble!! My fiance and I just got a Cavachon. She is now 4 months old and is 9 pounds. I am wondering, is Kasey a first generation (“F1”) or second generation (“F2”) Cavachon? Our puppy is an F2, meaning that both of her parents were Cavachons themselves. She’s adorable and we love her very much. She looks similar to your Kasey, just different coloring! I’ve been researching and can’t find much on the differences of F1 and F2 cavachons, if any. Do you know of any? i.e. should we expect different height or weight? temperment? etc.

Hi Steph,
An “F1” hybrid means that one parent is a Bichon and the other is a caviler (you are combining two recognised breeds). This produces a Cavachon.
An “F2” is the offspring of this union, i.e. Cavachon, which is not a breed, crossed back with a caviler or bichon. If you breed an F2, you have no guarentee what you might get. It could look very like either parent and probably won’t be non shead.

We have a Cavachon (Bailey), he is six and a half years old, we adore him. He is such a such a wonderful, loving, smart dog. Approximately eight months ago, we found out he had a heart condition, at that time he did. It need medication. Last week his condition got worse, we took him to the vet due to his difficulty breathing….the vet told us that he had fluid on his lungs and his heart is enlarged. He is on three different medications. We are devastated, he is so special to us. The vet told us he may only have a year to live.
