Hi,
We have a three month old Cavachon who barks for hours upon hours. She will stop momentarily for a treat, then continues on. We’ve ignored her to no avail. We tried spraying her with water, but she likes it and barks even more. Help! At wits end!

Hi,
I’ve been looking for the right breed i could take into my home. I’m thinking about getting a Cavachon. I have two cats already so I was wondering how the breed is around/would react with cats and seeing as it will be my first dog would it be Better to get an adult dog or puppy? Thanks!

First of all, I’m so glad you have this website! I’m very interested in the breed but have trouble finding good Cavachon information. I did have a question for you. I live in South Dakota, and am concerned about the weather. Do Cavachon tolerate the cold okay? The new puppy addition would obviously be an indoor dog, but walks and potty breaks can’t always wait for right weather! I also have a German Shorthaired Pointer. He is socialized with smaller dogs but loves to play. At 5 1/2 months, Scout is currently 35 pounds, so he will be decently big. How has your Kasey done with bigger dogs? Play would be supervised but I want to know if Cavachons are sturdy enough to handle puppy play with bigger friends.

Have a question my ten month old Cavachon Cozmo chews and destroys his bed (2) so far, any stuffed animal toy, I have thrown away at least 10 so far. And plastic ones he chews till he gets little pieces and then of course I throw those away too. He dosent’ chew on anything that is not his but a person could go broke keeping him in toys. I have purchased the kong toys but he doesnt’ really care for those. Anyway to break him if the destructive habit?

We have a 15 week male cavachon. He is usually very sweet and loving, but has what we call in the evening, where he growls & nips. I know he is teething, but we are not sure how to handle him when he gets like this. Just wondered if your dog behaved the same way as a puppy?

I have a 6 month old Cavachon. I have heard that Cavachons don’t shed (or shed very little). My cavachon sheds quite a bit. Is it just puppy shedding and once her puppy hair falls out and the new adult hair comes in it will slow down?
